In 2020, Dr Malherbe opened his private medical health and wellness centre, which is something that he’s been wanting to do for the last few years. Being based next door to OptiSkin aesthetic skin and laser his wife's business in Sunridge Shopping Centre, Dr Malherbe is able to practice both medicine and aesthetics.

Dr Malherbe has special interests in preventative medicine, health screenings and aesthetic medicine.
